Galbraith offers a fully comprehensive Right to Manage Service.
The Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 provides a right for apartment owners to transfer the management functions to a Right to Manage (“RTM”) Company set up by them.
If you own an apartment in a block of flats and wish to take over the transfer of responsibility and decision making of your block, then you may wish to proceed along the RTM route. There is no need for the apartment owners to prove mismanagement by the Landlord. .
We do not charge for administering the process on behalf of the RTM Company on the basis that we are instructed to undertake the management of the development on behalf of the new RTM Company. Please note that there are some disbursement costs which will be payable by the Residents in setting up the RTM company and we will advise on these costs before we undertake the procedure on your behalf. .
When you have taken control of the RTM company you can appoint your own managing agent, or you might like to consider our accounting support service and carry out some of your own management yourself.
